Hello! I’m Julia Hilmo, founder and director at FoundArts Theater.​ FoundArts is the beginning of a lifelong dream to run a quality, faith-centered, all-ages community theater program in the greater Seattle area. The driving force behind the formation of FoundArts is a deep love of storytelling, and the heartfelt belief that theater, -- as a full-bodied art medium -- provides us with a relational way of reflecting the human story and Imago Dei unlike any other. ​I believe it’s impossible to lose faith in the greater beauty of our reality when a script constantly draws your attention to life’s every detail. Theater so illuminates the ordinary, and so elevates the moments we as humans only-too-rarely burst into song over. Thank you for your support of FoundArts Theater.
