About The Show
One of Sondheim's most beloved musicals, Into the Woods follows several classic fairytale characters as they each make their way into the woods to get their wish. The Baker and his wife want to break a curse on their house, Cinderella wishes to visit the king's festival, and Jack must sell his cow. On their journeys, they will meet many other lively characters such as Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel, and perhaps even a Giant or two. Their wishes may be granted, but the outcome might not always be what they expect.
Audience Note: Into the Woods is rated PG13 by Music Theater International for dealing with complex themes such as death and infidelity. Viewer discretion is advised for young children.
